This is the official site of the Icelandic Club of Queensland (ICQ) which has its home in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Please go to our Facebook page through the ICQ tab at the top of this page for further notifications, news and various other material from the club and its members. Our Facebook page is the also the place where you can submit material for the benefit of other members. Be an active participant in our social scene and send us material that you think might be of interest to other members of the club. The Icelandic Club 17 of June Picnic.

We held our 17th of June picnic at Spiddal near Mount Tamborine and around 30 people attended on the day. A great time was had by all, new friendships were forged and the food was second to none, as is usually the case when Icelandic desserts are on the table. The strength of the club is reliant on the input and attendance of our members and we greatly value your input regarding the affairs of the club. Please contact Thorun, Elin or Johanna if you would like to offer suggestions on the activities of the club, would be able to host an event at a later date or if you are interested in going the extra mile for the Icelandic community in Queensland and become a member of the committee.
